This automotive repair shop is amazing. With so many great reviews from satisfied customers, I decided to bring my 2014 Ram 1500 truck to this automotive shop. My Ram had a number of faults as described in my electronic vehicle information center. The personnel at this shop took care of my truck issues in a prompt and professional manner. I was kept informed of the progress of the repairs throughout the entire process. Their fees were very reasonable and Matt was attentive and very courteous. I certainly was not disappointed with the professionalism, quality of work performed, the honesty of the personnel and the promptness in which they repaired my vehicle. If you want your vehicle repaired right and at a reasonable price, then take it to First Choice Automotive. The name says it all. This will be my repair shop from now on. Thank you Matt for a job well done.

After getting scammed twice by another shop and a mobile mechanic, I looked at first choice automotive to fix my 2008 Ford Focus Clutch.I called the shop and spoke with Matt who had my focus on a tow truck within an hour and as soon as it got to the shop they began working on it.They not only diagnosed the clutch but the entire car and gave me quotes and pictures of everything that was wrong with the car.They did not order any parts without my permission or try to sell me anything I did not want. They kept continuous DAILY communication with me through the entire process.The job was done extremely well and the five year warranty and easy financing with 100 days same as cash option puts your mind at easy.The entire company was very professional especially Matt who I worked with the most.Thank you Matt and the entire team at First Choice Automotive. I will be taking other cars here in the future.

I highly recommend First Choice. I spoke to Matt over the phone before going in, and he won my trust by answering my questions and through his understanding when I had to reschedule my initial appointment. The team did a great job replacing the radiator on my 06 Honda, and they gave me estimates on other issues that will need to be addressed. Their pricing is fair, everything is in print, and communication is honest and factual. Go see them!

Honestly Killeen shops will rip you off , this is a nice amazing respectful shop they don’t care if your a woman or man they will still treat you the same , I took my car in I honestly didn’t expect fast service like that due to the traffic they get . They call you stay in contact with you and make sure they give you the details that you need , they walk you through every little detail including prices parts and plenty more I was honestly amazed I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else also not to mention they work is great and you also get warranty! Take your car to them if you want amazing quality and good prices !

I own a 2007 Dodge Durango and, this is the second vehicle I have taken to 1st Choice.I explained to them what happened to the AC and, with in the same week I dropped it off I received a call telling me that they were finished.They were able to replace the parts that were damaged due to where in tear plus a couple other things they found.I received an email with info and pictures of the repairs that need to be done and also services that were needed in the future.They took care of me and family again during a HOT month and, was able to take it out on the road that weekend with COLD AC blowing.Thank you guys we appreciate the hard you put into our vehicle and checking in on us after we received it back.Keep up the great job!!!

Took my truck in for a transmission leak and the next day they had identified the leak and other problems. Mr. Eric was helpful with any questions I had and kept me updated regularly. Very professional and highly recommend. They did many repairs and had my truck back to me running great within a few days.

My son is stationed at Ft. Hood and his starter went out on 2008 Honda CR-V. Had it towed to nearest place and a week later and $1200 later they told him he had a blown head gasket. I am in North Carolina and did some research and found First Choice with great reviews. We got vehicle over there and Matt took care of us. He found a hard to find part and took care of a few other things. He kept me abreast the whole time of what was going on and my son just picked up car. I appreciate honest people and I can trust Matt and his team. That is a big deal for us back here in NC. Thank you.

This is the best auto shop in Killeen tx by far Mr EricAt the front desk was there to help me the whole way through from the time I brought my car to the shop from the time I came it pick it…..also the shop is very honest people the shop showed my my transmission fluid and showed me what was all wrong an the steps we could take to get it fix they also didn’t give me an off the wall price because I checked other shops an they all said the same thing so I am very great full for the customer service an the mechanics an also thanks for helping me get back to Nc

Called them up and told them my AC problem. They told me to drop it off and they would get it taken care of. Wasn't expecting them to get to it today, but Matt was able to get it taken care of today! Great customer service and now my AC is blowing ice cold! He didn't try to over diagnose for something I didn't need and the pricing was fair and reasonable. Highly recommend them for any of your auto repair needs. I will be back for any future work I need on my vehicles! Thank you!

So my wife had called a good 20-25 transmission shops from Killeen to Austin...in regards to a full transmission replacement on her car cause she plans on racing it at track and blowing motor and transmission so she can forge and build her motor and transmission in her car every shop that she called told her the cost is some where between 750-1200$ to replace it. The guy that she spoke with flat out refused to give her a quote without seein the car..BTW 124.99$ to bring it to this shop...she explained to him that he was the only shop in a lot of shops that refused to give a "BALLPARK" over the phone. She then threatened to write a bad review he put her on hold...to then more than likely put her on speaker..HAHA then tried to act like "HE JUST COULD NOT GIVE a BALLPARK ESTIMATE/AVERAGE COST" not a GUARANTEE...haha she even tried to explain that an average cost is not something a shop needs to see a car about.All of this being said...if I could have given them a ZERO STAR for customer service and a ZERO STAR for pricing. This shop is a rip off cause THEY MUST SEE YOUR VEHICLE...so you will then have to pay them their 124.99$ look at your car FEE...The guy was super rude to my wife even though she explained all of the above thoroughly to him.

I initially visited First choice to get my AC looked at. Through the due diligence of Eric I needed more work(I have an older truck). I was somewhat hesitant being another auto shop has failed me. I took my truck in to get wheel hub replaced and I was told I needed to replace my fuel filters and that my oil was extremely low. Fuel filter was replaced and oil was changed both meters were reset two weeks prior to going to the shop. My truck is a diesel those services would have been an extra 500$ Or more. Shops these days are not to honest and nickel and dime you.

Came in with a busted up 91 Jeep Cherokee that wouldn't start and they had me roll back out within a week. Were super transparent with me and kept me in the loop through phone the whole time about the status of the vehicle and issues I wasn't aware of. Always offered for me to look at any issues before they worked on them and never tried to trick me out of any money or do less than what they were paid for. Fair and honest professionals the whole way and I'll definitely be returning.

I have used this repair shop for both of my automobiles for years. Just recently my lower ball joint went on my 03 Denali.....called Mon to get it up there and by Tue was done with both upper and lower ball joints, tire rods, and axel. Great and efficient service as well as staff all the time.

I brought my Chevy Colorado in for a diagnostic on a concerning sound I was hearing from the back end. They were able to find the issue in a timely manner and explained other potential issues in simple and understanding terms without “mansplaining” it to me. I felt very respected and not taken advantage of as a woman coming in basically stating, “there’s a sound and I need help!”. I ended up getting my truck fixed with them due to such a great price. These guys are amazing. Matt took our van in when we were denied service at our "go to" mechanic(they quoted us 4k in repairs) but here at First Choice, they repaired our van at a FRACTION of the price. I took my car in to have the headlight wiring repaired, and Eric was by far one of if not the best people I have received customer service from in any industry. He was upfront about what could and could not be done, hospitable, and didn’t treat me as a piggy bank. He made sure I knew what was being done to my car and was never rude at any point in time. Took my 09 Camry in for a check up before we went on a trip. The Pre Trip check alone is $124. Ok not bad for checking everything. I had an appointment at 8am this morning. At 1pm after I was told my car is in great shape for the age, the guy I was talking to started saying prices for a bunch of things so fast I couldn't keep it straight on what was priced for what that my car "needed". I was overwhelmed and told him to go ahead and do a tune up. They charged me $30 per spark plug. That was $120 for spark plugs. I have paper estimates on everything I "need" and everything is ridiculously priced. My husband called around 3pm asking if our car was done yet. They told me it might not get done before tomorrow afternoon. Why??? We told them to forget it and we will come get the car and somehow they found time to get it done before 5pm. Never again. I'm not even mentioning the amount of money they charged me for "labor".

Had my blinker lever break off my 2017 Volkswagen Passat. They told me they would take a look at it and see if they could fix it, but if not they would have to order a new part. They ended up fixing it, saving me about $600. and never had to order the new part. They also gave me rides free of charge to my house and back so I wouldn't have to walk. Good people. Professional, trustworthy business.

This is now my go to auto shop, I've been dealing with them for about six months now for various issues and anytime there's an issue with my car I call them. The employees are all very professional and polite. The best part is whenever I have to call its usually the worst part of my day, but after speaking to someone on the phone I feel reassured that the issue will be fixed in a timely manner plus they can tow the vehicle to their shop😊 This is by far the best shop on Killeen!

Called Matt and got an appointment a couple days later. My family only has one car so when i dropped it off Matt dropped me off and picked me up from home. He told me exactly what was going on and what they did to fix the breaks. They were extremely friendly and professional with everything. Overall very satisfied with the experience. I took my vehicle in for an alignment. I was told I needed brakes and rotors. I don't understand why since other shop didn't say I needed it and I had them done just last year. I'm not a mechanic so I told the to go ahead since my vehicle was already taken apart. I got my vehicle back way after the time they told me. My vehicle started squeaking. I finally found time to take it back. They checked it said it was fixed. My vehicle still continued to squeak when slowing down. I was not going to take it back but I did. Another service person asked me to let them try again. They worked on it again. They changed out the brakes. My vehicle still squeaks. I am disappointed and frustrated. I'm starting nor to trust mechanics.

Overall great experience! I called needing my window replaced. Matt was very helpful with scheduling an available time. He even called me back with availability to come in sooner. They were able to replace my window and even cleaned up some of the remaining glass for me. The window looks great. The service was very professional and good quality. Definitely took the ease off of the stress that I was already dealing with from my car getting broken in to. I'd recommend you come here!

I'm bringing my fathers '97 Ford Expedition back to life. First Choice has done all previous work on engine and transmission. It started with my AC not working properly brought it in for the diagnosis. Turns out my AC compressor failed they offered me a competitive price to change out the compressor and recharge the system at a one-day turnaround for parts and one day repair extremely professional staff and pleasant to work with. They also have the ability to do financing through different companies to help if you don't have the cash available to do a major repair all of a sudden. I would highly recommend these to anyone who's looking for repairs.

Drove from Chicago over 1,100 miles and 1 week into being here the clutch pedal gets stuck. I had no issues with the car prior. Towed it there and the work was done the next day. Picked it up and immediately noticed an electrical issue as the dash board was lit up and the car operating at about 80% power. Took it back two days after I picked it up and they wouldn’t really didn’t do anything to check it out besides lift the hood and tell me prices to look into it more. They contacted me again about the car, said clutch is fine but it’s still having these electrical issues since I picked it up that I didn’t have before, brought it in just to be told it’s an issue not related to the clutch (I agree) but that it was an electrical problem that started after I picked the car up. Got me for my money. Will not recommend.

Matt and his crew took very good care of us! I took my son's vehicle there to get the A/C checked. During conversation I mentioned that I had purchased the vehicle used and wasn't sure if it had any additional issues outside of the A/C blowing hot air. They did a complete check of the vehicle to let me know of any additional repairs that may be needed and gave me a complete estimate on each item. My son is extremely pleased with the work that was completed on the A/C and with the estimates for items of concern to be repaired or replaced. I dropped off my ram 2500 with brake issues and no A/C at 1st choice and the team there couldn’t have been easier to work with. They were straight forward with me about what needed to be done on the truck. We had un expected problems occur during the service that the mechanics took care of and got me back on the road in a hurry. I’ve been to multiple shops in the Killeen area and this one by far is the best. I will be taking all my vehicles here for now on.

I took my vehicle to First Choice Automotive Repair to get A/C repaired and couldn't be happier with the outcome. I have been to a different shop in town several months ago for the same issue (A/C stops blowing air off and on) and was charged almost $800 for changing an air cabin filter and coolant in addition to "other recommended services," yet the main problem couldn't be fixed. I read positive reviews on First Choice Automotive Repair and was hoping that I would not get screwed over again.When I got my vehicle back today the problem was fixed, and now A/C works perfectly fine. I truly appreciate the mechanic who worked on my vehicle in timely manner and great customer service provided at the front desk. Living in this town for over a decade, I finally found a reliable automotive professional and would definitely return in case I need services 🙂

Just moved down here from Georgia with my 21 year old car. I commute everyday from Killeen to Austin for work. I noticed some squeaking sounds coming from the back end of the car. When I say Matt saved my life, I'm not speaking figuratively. for a couple years now i've had a chugging problem when my truck would be around 2000RPM and i'd try to accelerate. i've taken it to a nationally known big name garage twice and a private master mechanic and nobody could seem to figure out what the issue might have been. Matt and his team found the issue, explained everything in great detail and fixed it in the same day. it was the spark plugs...they were just OLD!!! and very worn out. there wasn't enough spark to fire properly and they'd misfire so it caused that chugging. i've been driving it now for 2 days and no chug. this is fantastic. they took care of my front wheel bearings as well and ran a full diagnostic to see if there was anything else that needed to be fixed. there are, but money is tight right now but rest assured, i'll be going back to 1st Choice for Matt and his team to take care of my truck the right way. Thanks guys for such great work and customer service.

Went in to fix a/c they were great in that aspect but once I received my vehicle back my check engine light was on. Said it was already on when they received the vehicle but I stopped to put gas in before there and looked right at the dash on multiple occasions even before getting out of my car bc I made sure it was in park and there was no check engine light on. Will not be returning for anything else from them. Beware and make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before handing it over! I am a female and will not be taken advantage of!

If you don’t want to read all of this, just know this place rocks.... I don’t need to search any further for a trusted shop. I have been trying to find a place as friendly, honest and caring as this place and I finally found it. First off, when I called Matt answered.. I explained my situation and he was very honest, professional and friendly. The feeling I had about this place simply over the phone was already great. He got me in same day and called me promptly the next day to let me know that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I bet I would have had it the same day but I dropped it off close to closing time. His pricing was very fair and he did not nickel and dime me. I truly feel like the pricing actually matched my requested service. During my pick up Matt explained what was done, gave me the cost answered any questions that I had and was again very personable and friendly. I needed to find out why my check engine light was on, so I could renew my tag. I gave First Choice a call and spoke to Will. He gave me some insight that it could be one or several different things that would make that light come on. SO, I asked when could come to do the emission diagnostic to pin point the problem, Monday April 4th at 8 am.. I was there, the gentleman took my car back, within a little bit he came out and told Will what was the issue..Once they explained to me what needed to be done, I agreed to repair immediately and within the hour my vehicle was ready. The short version is that their customer service was excellent the entire time, the work they did was high quality, the price was fair, and I got my car back the very next day. I will go back for future repairs, and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Matt and the crew here are honest and professional.After having a bad experience with the dealership in town, I was looking for an alternative. I brought my vehicle to this shop because the battery light was coming on. I suspected the alternator was going bad. Instead, their technician narrowed the problem down to a broken clip where the wires plug into the alternator which was preventing a solid connection. The technician here was honest and only replaced the clip instead of trying to replace more parts than necessary. When I picked up my car the next day, Matt showed the repairs they made, thoroughly explained the problem, and returned the old clip for comparison. The work looked great, and he also made a few recommendations for the future which I appreciate. A few days have now passed without issue so I am confident that the problem was accurately and properly fixed. I have no complaints about my experience with this shop.

I called Matt at 1700 saying I think my windshield wiper motor was out and I have a long trip I’m taking tomorrow and need my wipers.He said he wasn’t sure if he can fix my problem today but respected the fact I was in need ans said come on by anyways and he will at least look (3 other shops in the area said I was screwed for days).Lo and behold he fixed me up in about 10min, if that ans was beyond friendly. Wasn’t my motor after all and helped from the kindness of his heart.I will be back here for anything I ever need and will suggest it to everyone on base who is in need. Recently my son needed a new engine in his Camaro.
