When my daughter’s car broke down on the road, a quick Google search showed a 5 star review for First Choice Auto Repair. From the first phone call when Eric arranged a tow, to the diagnostics and repair, I was extremely happy with the process. Would not recommend these guys if you have an issue that is not easily identifiable. They did not necessarily do a bad job, but they will miss or gloss over things on your inspection, and will troubleshoot repair at the cost of your wallet. I went in November noting that my car had a sway when driving highway speeds, they said it was the right control arm and replaced for $900. The issue arises again so I come back and then they say it is the left control that is damaged, which leads me to ask why that wasn’t caught the first time around but okay sure. They also say that they noticed upon second inspection (which is $150) that the steering rack is damaged and should be replaced but the main issue is the left control arm and I am guaranteed the issue I am complaining about will be fixed if I get the left control arm replaced for $750. Well $1700 later I seem to have found the issue is still not fixed and it was actually the steering rack all along. In the end I paid for things the mechanics advised would fix my issue, but did not help.

The folks at First Choice Automotive are the best around. My car needed the transmission replaced, a new rear differential, two new CV axles in the front, a new AC compressor a new serpentine belt and new engine and cabin air filters. They spent hours on the phone with my extended warranty company to get things approved and to receive the parts. Through it all Eric, Shawn and Matt were always very calm with me and exhibited absolute professionalism throughout the entire process. I will not take my car anywhere else and would recommend First Choice Automotive to anyone.

We called First Choice at the recommendation of a friend. We had fuel leaking from our truck, which I had identified as a hole in the fuel line. I was going to repair it myself, but wasn’t confident about all the specialty tools I would need.First Choice had my truck for a total of 3 hours and it was fixed.They found that the leak was not in the filter line, but at the fuel filter housing, saving me tons of money!!!Will recommended them to anyone looking for a shop they can trust.

I wasn’t going to write a review about my experience, but felt compelled to. A couple of weeks ago my vehicle was damaged and inoperable. On 10/14/22, looked online for auto repair businesses, I immediately saw First Choice Automotive Repair because of its good ratings. So, I decided to give them a call (in retrospect I really should have looked around) to see if I could have my car towed to their shop. I remember speaking to Eric, he informed me of the $134 fee to have my car examined and I agreed; I had my car towed the same morning.A few hours later I received a call from Eric, he told me what was wrong with my car (steering system damage, electric belt drive rack & pinion steering, air bag contact coil, control arms, alignment, fender repair, etc) and gave me an estimate around $5,4000 to have all the damages repaired, and he suggested financing options for the repairs. At this point, I was in a dispute with my insurance company, so I knew there was a chance that I might have to pay for the repairs.A couple of days later, I called back and this time I spoke to Sean, and I asked him how much it would cost to get my running meaning repairing steering system damage, electric belt drive rack & pinion steering, air bag contact coil, control arms, alignment, and waiting to fix the fender another time. He told me to get in back operable it would be $4,409.81 and another $2,205.00 to repair the fender, totaling $6,614.81. I was very shocked because a few days prior, Eric gave me an estimate of $5,400 for all damages, I knew then I had made a bad choice of taking my car there.They were very admit about me coming there and signing the estimate. I went to the shop, and both Eric and Sean were there, so asked what happened to price of the estimate and why did it increase so drastically. They were very dismissive, I remember Sean saying, “oh prices go up and down.” I was very suspicious and upset, but I signed the estimate because I needed to get my car fixed, so I ended up paying the $4,409 to get my car running. I really did not understand, how can the estimate be one amount, especially after my car was fully examined and a few days increase so significantly?So, I filed a complaint with the BBB and Office of the Attorney General, because I truly feel that I was excessively overcharged and charged for repairs that I really do not need. So, I just want people (especially women) to be aware of some businesses predatory practices in an effort to get you to pay more money. This was a lesson learned for me moving forward, I will do my homework when seeking an auto repair shops in the future.Side note: My insurance company did send an appraiser to appraise my car. His estimate total for all damages was $5,664.35.

Awesome service, straight up dudes and efficient. Any complaints on here are from people who are too cheap and expect to get the job done with expectation of "how they believe it should be priced". Good work doesn't come cheap, they have zero knowledge of the industry and just want to complain to feel self rightious, and if there is an issue after you get your car back these guys will help take care of it. 2018 Ford F150 4x4 was making humming sound from front end. Carmax sent truck to 1st Choice Auto Repair and I couldn't have been more pleased. Great team! Everyone was super professional at all times, they where able to get my car towed to their shop within the hour from when I called to tell them my issue(super fast) they proceeded to inspect the car to see what the issue was. They order the drive shaft/propeller shaft once they received it, they installed the part and I was able to pick up my Challenger. Plus it has a five year warranty!

I went here this morning and gave the guy at the desk a list of things I need for my BMWX5. I told him I like to get an estimate. The guy said we don't do that here, that not what we do. I was shock. He did not have a name tag but if he did I would have told you his name. I said to myself you going to do work on my car and I don't know how much it going to cost. I thought it was the law to let people know how much it going to cost before you work on their car. Red flag for me. There was 2 other things on the list that he said he couldn't do because he need a machine. Red flag for me because on the website it say they Specialize in Import and Domestic total car care. This automotive repair shop is amazing. With so many great reviews from satisfied customers, I decided to bring my 2014 Ram 1500 truck to this automotive shop. My Ram had a number of faults as described in my electronic vehicle information center. The personnel at this shop took care of my truck issues in a prompt and professional manner. I was kept informed of the progress of the repairs throughout the entire process. Their fees were very reasonable and Matt was attentive and very courteous. I certainly was not disappointed with the professionalism, quality of work performed, the honesty of the personnel and the promptness in which they repaired my vehicle. If you want your vehicle repaired right and at a reasonable price, then take it to First Choice Automotive. The name says it all. This will be my repair shop from now on. After getting scammed twice by another shop and a mobile mechanic, I looked at first choice automotive to fix my 2008 Ford Focus Clutch.I called the shop and spoke with Matt who had my focus on a tow truck within an hour and as soon as it got to the shop they began working on it.They not only diagnosed the clutch but the entire car and gave me quotes and pictures of everything that was wrong with the car.They did not order any parts without my permission or try to sell me anything I did not want. I own a 2007 Dodge Durango and, this is the second vehicle I have taken to 1st Choice.I explained to them what happened to the AC and, with in the same week I dropped it off I received a call telling me that they were finished.They were able to replace the parts that were damaged due to where in tear plus a couple other things they found.I received an email with info and pictures of the repairs that need to be done and also services that were needed in the future.They took care of me and family again during a HOT month and, was able to take it out on the road that weekend with COLD AC blowing.Thank you guys we appreciate the hard you put into our vehicle and checking in on us after we received it back.Keep up the great job!!!

My son is stationed at Ft. Hood and his starter went out on 2008 Honda CR-V. Had it towed to nearest place and a week later and $1200 later they told him he had a blown head gasket. I am in North Carolina and did some research and found First Choice with great reviews. We got vehicle over there and Matt took care of us. He found a hard to find part and took care of a few other things. He kept me abreast the whole time of what was going on and my son just picked up car. I appreciate honest people and I can trust Matt and his team. That is a big deal for us back here in NC. Thank you.

This is the best auto shop in Killeen tx by far Mr EricAt the front desk was there to help me the whole way through from the time I brought my car to the shop from the time I came it pick it…..also the shop is very honest people the shop showed my my transmission fluid and showed me what was all wrong an the steps we could take to get it fix they also didn’t give me an off the wall price because I checked other shops an they all said the same thing so I am very great full for the customer service an the mechanics an also thanks for helping me get back to Nc
