This shop is awesome. Friendly atmosphere when you walk in, and they are very good at what they do. Needed a new motor for my Chevy, and they knocked it out of the park within a week. The found a crack in my radiator along with several other issues that Phil’s Service didn’t catch. Very flexible with payments and time constraints.

Drove from Chicago over 1,100 miles and 1 week into being here the clutch pedal gets stuck. I had no issues with the car prior. Towed it there and the work was done the next day. Picked it up and immediately noticed an electrical issue as the dash board was lit up and the car operating at about 80% power. Took it back two days after I picked it up and they wouldn’t really didn’t do anything to check it out besides lift the hood and tell me prices to look into it more. They contacted me again about the car, said clutch is fine but it’s still having these electrical issues since I picked it up that I didn’t have before, brought it in just to be told it’s an issue not related to the clutch (I agree) but that it was an electrical problem that started after I picked the car up. Got me for my money. Will not recommend.

Matt and his crew took very good care of us! I took my son's vehicle there to get the A/C checked. During conversation I mentioned that I had purchased the vehicle used and wasn't sure if it had any additional issues outside of the A/C blowing hot air. They did a complete check of the vehicle to let me know of any additional repairs that may be needed and gave me a complete estimate on each item. My son is extremely pleased with the work that was completed on the A/C and with the estimates for items of concern to be repaired or replaced. I dropped off my ram 2500 with brake issues and no A/C at 1st choice and the team there couldn’t have been easier to work with. They were straight forward with me about what needed to be done on the truck. We had un expected problems occur during the service that the mechanics took care of and got me back on the road in a hurry. I’ve been to multiple shops in the Killeen area and this one by far is the best. I will be taking all my vehicles here for now on.

I took my vehicle to First Choice Automotive Repair to get A/C repaired and couldn't be happier with the outcome. I have been to a different shop in town several months ago for the same issue (A/C stops blowing air off and on) and was charged almost $800 for changing an air cabin filter and coolant in addition to "other recommended services," yet the main problem couldn't be fixed. I read positive reviews on First Choice Automotive Repair and was hoping that I would not get screwed over again.When I got my vehicle back today the problem was fixed, and now A/C works perfectly fine. I truly appreciate the mechanic who worked on my vehicle in timely manner and great customer service provided at the front desk. Just moved down here from Georgia with my 21 year old car. I commute everyday from Killeen to Austin for work. I noticed some squeaking sounds coming from the back end of the car. After doing research online I decided to go with First Choice Automotive. What I thought was a minor issue turned out to be something major! When I say Matt saved my life, I'm not speaking figuratively. for a couple years now i've had a chugging problem when my truck would be around 2000RPM and i'd try to accelerate. i've taken it to a nationally known big name garage twice and a private master mechanic and nobody could seem to figure out what the issue might have been. Matt and his team found the issue, explained everything in great detail and fixed it in the same day. it was the spark plugs...they were just OLD!!! and very worn out. there wasn't enough spark to fire properly and they'd misfire so it caused that chugging. i've been driving it now for 2 days and no chug. this is fantastic. they took care of my front wheel bearings as well and ran a full diagnostic to see if there was anything else that needed to be fixed. there are, but money is tight right now but rest assured, i'll be going back to 1st Choice for Matt and his team to take care of my truck the right way. Thanks guys for such great work and customer service.

Went in to fix a/c they were great in that aspect but once I received my vehicle back my check engine light was on. Said it was already on when they received the vehicle but I stopped to put gas in before there and looked right at the dash on multiple occasions even before getting out of my car bc I made sure it was in park and there was no check engine light on. Will not be returning for anything else from them. Beware and make sure you take pictures of your vehicle before handing it over! I am a female and will not be taken advantage of!

If you don’t want to read all of this, just know this place rocks.... I don’t need to search any further for a trusted shop. I have been trying to find a place as friendly, honest and caring as this place and I finally found it. First off, when I called Matt answered.. I explained my situation and he was very honest, professional and friendly. The feeling I had about this place simply over the phone was already great. He got me in same day and called me promptly the next day to let me know that my vehicle was ready for pick up. I bet I would have had it the same day but I dropped it off close to closing time. His pricing was very fair and he did not nickel and dime me. I truly feel like the pricing actually matched my requested service. During my pick up Matt explained what was done, gave me the cost answered any questions that I had and was again very personable and friendly. I needed to find out why my check engine light was on, so I could renew my tag. I gave First Choice a call and spoke to Will. He gave me some insight that it could be one or several different things that would make that light come on. SO, I asked when could come to do the emission diagnostic to pin point the problem, Monday April 4th at 8 am.. I was there, the gentleman took my car back, within a little bit he came out and told Will what was the issue..Once they explained to me what needed to be done, I agreed to repair immediately and within the hour my vehicle was ready. The short version is that their customer service was excellent the entire time, the work they did was high quality, the price was fair, and I got my car back the very next day. I will go back for future repairs, and I would recommend them to my friends and family. Matt and the crew here are honest and professional.After having a bad experience with the dealership in town, I was looking for an alternative. I brought my vehicle to this shop because the battery light was coming on. I suspected the alternator was going bad. Instead, their technician narrowed the problem down to a broken clip where the wires plug into the alternator which was preventing a solid connection. The technician here was honest and only replaced the clip instead of trying to replace more parts than necessary. When I picked up my car the next day, Matt showed the repairs they made, thoroughly explained the problem, and returned the old clip for comparison. The work looked great, and he also made a few recommendations for the future which I appreciate. A few days have now passed without issue so I am confident that the problem was accurately and properly fixed. I have no complaints about my experience with this shop.

I called Matt at 1700 saying I think my windshield wiper motor was out and I have a long trip I’m taking tomorrow and need my wipers.He said he wasn’t sure if he can fix my problem today but respected the fact I was in need ans said come on by anyways and he will at least look (3 other shops in the area said I was screwed for days).Lo and behold he fixed me up in about 10min, if that ans was beyond friendly. After driving the car for about a week now after the repairs, I must say that they did a wonderful job and the car feels like new. One of the problems was a really bad oil leak but I haven't seen a single drop since and the engine frame and exterior was cleaned immaculately. My wife’s transmission went out in her SUV. I called First Choice and right from the jump Matt was helping me every step of the way. My car caught fire in Belton on December 21. We had it towed to our apartment to see if we could fix it ourselves. We were worried it was beyond our expertise so we knew we needed help. We got quoted 2500 from a kia dealership for our alternator and wire harness that may need to be replaced. My dad found this place and they saw us Monday after we called same day in the morning. The car was ready by end of business day in perfect condition. We paid way less for what needed to be replaced at this business. The guy we talked to was super professional and attempted to save us money where he could. He left me a sweet sticker note on my speedometer placed on oreos thanking me for choosing them. After the awful week we had stressing over the car before Christmas this small thoughtful touch made me want to cry. I won't go anywhere else from now on for future car troubles. I know I can count on them. Our car was dropped around 7:45 am and was ready same day by 5:30 pm. Thank you thank you.

Comfortable lobby. Staff couldn’t explain what EXT referenced on invoice. Invoice included a couple lines that explained the ‘Service’ completed on the vehicle except replacing spark plugs & flushing coolant. No future maintenance events were indicated as being required, which would be good to know, plan for, & budgeted. Think businesses have crucial touch-point opportunities to add value when building & maintaining relationships with customers. That didn’t happen as I had hoped.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I have a Mercedes GLK 350 and I needed my light bulb changed. I dont know what got over me to do it myself ( WRONG IDEA) and the spring came out that holds the light in place. Sooo I took my car to MATT DAVIS and he did his thang! He fixed it! This company is very professional, highly skilled and certified! He insured my vehicle was worked on and he didn't let me leave until it was fixed! They are very detailed oriented and I can tell he does what he do because he really enjoys doing it! I already have my own brakes and rotors I just need someone to put them own. The guy told me 300 dollars that’s ridiculous. By far the highest places I’ve called today. They won’t ever get my service.

Matt is the MAN ! Answers all my questions and makes sure everything is perfect ! All the guys are awesome and helpful. They do great quality work and are very very thorough. My vehicle required suspension and radiator maintenance and despite having a large workload already they gave me an accurate wait time for when they would diagnose the vehicle's issues. Their timeline and cost estimates afterwards were reasonable. They offer the services of 3rd party loaners (with advice on how to not get gouged on interest rates) if money is an issue. Their intent is to get your vehicle road worthy and offer great customer service in the process. I was very satisfied with their ability to communicate and the quality of their work. I will be going back to them for any issues that I will be unable to fix.
