I had a GREAT experience when I took my vehicle to 1st Choice. Eric was very kind and informative. He even found a discount for my service. I needed special brakes for my vehicle as it is a high-performance luxury vehicle. All of the members of the staff were very professional. I just don’t even have enough words to say how appreciative I am of these guys hard work - my car was practically falling apart when I took it in - they worked nonstop to get the job done, as inexpensively as they possibly could. From the time I took my vehicle into the shop to the time I picked it up the customer service was great. Eric always kept in contact with me to let me know the status of the repairs. For the extent of what needed to be done the work was done very quickly and done right. The follow up days after I picked it up ensured me they care about the work they do. I have to say that the people here went above and beyond for me and fixing my car. Billy was always quick to give me an update! I was on a short time frame of getting it fixed. They got it checked and fixed the next day! Very professional and very nice! Definitely recommend them and won’t go to anyone else. May be a little expensive but man the work and the quality is worth every penny.

Love, love these guys!! They repaired all my issues with my Infinity. Very professional and worked with me because my SUV had LOTS of problems. I highly recommend going to these guys because their work is guaranteed! This is the second time I’ve gone to them, and my father had work done on his truck as well. Vehicles are up and running great. One of my issues was my headlight was out for over two years from a wiring problem and they were able to fix it. I am beyond happy. Thank you all so much!!

Very nice and up front pricing. Spent over $5000 on repairs..was given car back very quickly but had to return for them to fix an issue..they didn't charge extra but was a bit concerning that I spent alot of money and was given my car back with an obvious issue..had I not spoken up it would have been another issue. Appreciated the correction but should not have had that happen for the amount spent. 1 week follow up and "correction" that was done was clearly not completed correctly as my car is still shaking while in idle. I will need to seek out a different provider as my trust here is definitely lacking. Nice customer service not great repair work ..a few weeks later update: could finally afford to take to another shop to be told I need to pay almost $800 to replace engine mount which I was told was corrected by this shop already. So no way I'm bumping this up to a 5 star! Even if I was reimbursed the lies told would prevent such a review score.

Eric provided me periodic updates from start to finish. Updates came in a issue discussion recommendation format with videos and pictures depicting each discrepancy. Its worth the money spent. You might see a part going for 2 to 3 times the amount it costs, just know you are paying for their 5 year warranty for parts and labor of the same kind and cost at their shop. Recommend to anyone that wants their car serviced with peace of mind!-James

My car leaked liquids and clumps so I went in to get it fixed up. The waiting room was very quiet and nice so my anxiety was not a problem at all, the gentleman helped me, and it was very quick to set things up. Once again, the guys at First Choice Automotive Repair did right by me! This time it was the turbocharger on my Duramax. Travis now has it running BETTER than new and with lots MORE POWER! If you know how expensive replacing a turbocharger is, then you know how much I trust First Choice to do the job right and be fair about the price. Sean sent me photos and explained what was needed so I could assess and see everything. Eric and Billy keep me well informed of progress. Went here for faulty air compressor in my jeep.Pros:professional and courteous.Cons:too rich for my blood.So I have had multiple people help me do research on what I needed to fix my car while the team at first choice brought up issues me and my friends did not see in the quote I had only asked for one part to be fixed and the part was around $200 this information came from a mechanic friend who looked it up in her system while she was at work. The team was very friendly and courteous as previously stated but then I was quoted for $2000 approximately for just the part , installation and labor this was just a little too expensive for just an a/c compressor fix decided to go elsewhere but if you can afford it the place seems nice.

I was a customer of 1st Choice automotive for years and they used to treat me well, particularly when Matt was at the helm. Today, their service is low quality and their prices are not what they used to be. A few years ago, I had them replace an alternator which they took care of at a reasonable price. Earlier this week, that alternator died. 1st Choice felt no responsibility for defective part and made it a point to note that the 5 year warranty they offer for parts today did not cover me. A mechanic in Austin now working on my truck indicated that the alternator they installed was a refurbished part… I’m done with 1st Choice Automotive.

Worst place to leave your car. They even stole my stereo, broke my dash and my car was running and on the way out of there needed to be towed.Yes was on this establishment and when I got my car in the tow truck you guys called the cops and started this not me. Remember you stop the drama when I asked so why you calling the cops when I am getting my car but no report was made when “the 5 inch touch screen radio” was stolen and didn’t finished the job because you guys don’t know what you doing. Yes I even have it on video.

I took my truck in after meeting Eric and after they did the initial things on the list they found 5 additional issues which was back up with pictures and really good explanation. They gave me all my options but never pressured me into fixing any of the issues they found. Not only did they take me back home but also picked me up so I didn’t have to wait in the shop. Also I didn’t need to call anyone or get an Uber. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I’ll never go anywhere else!

When my daughter’s car broke down on the road, a quick Google search showed a 5 star review for First Choice Auto Repair. From the first phone call when Eric arranged a tow, to the diagnostics and repair, I was extremely happy with the process. Both Eric and Shawn were friendly, courteous and were quick with updates and answering questions. The app with the diagnostics and estimates was helpful and easy to use. Repair time was good considering there was a delay on a part and the car now runs great! I will be using them for my own vehicle if the need arises!

Would not recommend these guys if you have an issue that is not easily identifiable. They did not necessarily do a bad job, but they will miss or gloss over things on your inspection, and will troubleshoot repair at the cost of your wallet. I went in November noting that my car had a sway when driving highway speeds, they said it was the right control arm and replaced for $900. The issue arises again so I come back and then they say it is the left control that is damaged, which leads me to ask why that wasn’t caught the first time around but okay sure. They also say that they noticed upon second inspection (which is $150) that the steering rack is damaged and should be replaced but the main issue is the left control arm and I am guaranteed the issue I am complaining about will be fixed if I get the left control arm replaced for $750. Well $1700 later I seem to have found the issue is still not fixed and it was actually the steering rack all along. In the end I paid for things the mechanics advised would fix my issue, but did not help.

The folks at First Choice Automotive are the best around. My car needed the transmission replaced, a new rear differential, two new CV axles in the front, a new AC compressor a new serpentine belt and new engine and cabin air filters. They spent hours on the phone with my extended warranty company to get things approved and to receive the parts. Through it all Eric, Shawn and Matt were always very calm with me and exhibited absolute professionalism throughout the entire process. I will not take my car anywhere else and would recommend First Choice Automotive to anyone.
